The American Association of University Professors is the professional organization for faculty members in American higher education. The Ohio Conference AAUP assists individual faculty members in many ways. To reach any Committee Chair contact the Conference office.

Committee A (Academic Freedom)
Faculty members who are having difficulty with academic freedom, promotion, tenure, reappointment and other academic matters receive assistance from COMMITTEE A.

    In Ohio, the AAUP is the collective bargaining agent on ten campuses: Central State University, Cincinnati Technical and Community College, the University of Cincinnati, Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University, University of Toledo, University of Akron, Wilberforce University and Wright State University
